Fort McMurray Family Dentists
Temporomandibular joint dysfunction, best known as TMJ, is the disorder causing painful joints on either side of your jaw where the jawbone connects to the skull.
TMJ may occur from a combination of jaw injury, arthritis, clenching or grinding your teeth and genetics. This joint dysfunction usually happens when the structure of your jaw is damaged or falls out of place resulting in a clicking sound or grating sensation as you open your mouth or chew.
Our professional team at Franklin Dental wants to give you treatment for this disorder so you can live life without jaw pain.
